Local Author Meet and Greet: Chelan David
We're excited to host local author Chelan David and the release of his book, Stories from the Phog: Forty Years of Kansas Basketball.
Chelan graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. Having grown up in Lawrence, Jayhawk basketball is a way of life. Over the past five decades he’s played at Allen Fieldhouse, celebrated at Allen Fieldhouse, and on rare occasions, mourned at Allen Fieldhouse. His very first game was in 1982 when he was a fourth grader. His favorite Jayhawk memory? Attending the 2022 National Championship game in New Orleans with his oldest daughter and watching KU overcome a 16-point deficit to beat North Carolina.
