Derby DIY: The Burden of Abundance Gardening Leftovers In-Person

Join local gardener Kiley Flint-Foster to learn the tools, tricks, and techniques of dealing with garden overflow! Did your garden overproduce this summer and you just can't figure out what to do with all of your produce? Kiley will guide you through various techniques to preserve and keep your produce well into the winter months including the canning process, freeze drying, dehydration, fermentation, and salting. Patrons will make their own rosemary herb salt to take home and use on produce for further preservation. All materials and light refreshments provided!
