The town of Bonebreak Holler has a lot of rules; hold your breath as you pass the graveyard, leave out of the same door you came in, and if you hear someone calling your name in the backwoods, ignore it at all costs. Life in the heart of Appalachia is mysterious, from the cries of the mountain dulcimer to the secret ingredient in Granny Woman's beans and cornbread. It's best not to go snooping around, but some mysteries need to be solved. Dinner will be provided by Truly Amazing Catering.

This mystery night is a part of the Legends of KanRead 2025 event and focuses on Appalachian folklore. 

Library No-Show Policy: 
In the event that an adult patron cannot attend a registered event, that patron is required to provide cancellation notice via email or by phone at least 24 hours prior to the day of the event. If a cancellation notice is not given at the time of the event, that patron is considered a "no-show." If the registered patron is a no-show to three registered events, said patron will not be permitted to register for or attend any events requiring registration for a period of six months
