Derby DIY: Gardening 101 In-Person
Join local gardener Kiley Flint-Foster to begin or re-invigorate your gardening journey. Kiley will guide you through the basics of beginning a garden, different soil and seed types, watering techniques, beginner pitfalls, weather preparations, and harvesting. You'll also get to plant a few of your own seeds to take home and nurture! This class is perfect for the gardening beginner or for gardeners looking for helpful tips and tricks in the growing season.
Library No-Show Policy:
In the event that an adult patron cannot attend a registered event, that patron is required to provide cancellation notice via email or by phone at least 24 hours prior to the day of the event. If a cancellation notice is not given at the time of the event, that patron is considered a "no-show." If the registered patron is a no-show to three registered events, said patron will not be permitted to register for or attend any events requiring registration for a period of six months.
